Type 1 diabetes care and support
Specialist support for children, adolescents and adults living with type 1 diabetes, at any stage of their journey. Care is available from initial diagnosis through to those who have lived with diabetes for years and may require support with a new challenge- like running a marathon!
Education and clinical support are tailored to the way each person chooses to manage their diabetes — whether using insulin pump therapy, multiple daily injections, or a combination of approaches. Care focuses on practical insulin management, understanding glucose patterns, and developing skills that support safety, consistency, and improved time in range.
Support is designed to integrate diabetes into everyday life, including work, family life, school and childcare, exercise, illness, travel, and major life transitions. With extensive experience across both adult and paediatric care, including very young children, individuals and families are supported to live well with diabetes while building confidence in long-term self-management.
type 2 diabetes
Individualised education and clinical support to help people with type 2 diabetes understand their condition and take control of their health. This includes blood glucose monitoring, medication and insulin education, lifestyle strategies, complication prevention, and support during treatment escalation or transition to insulin therapy.
